While there are plenty of Exile base building tutorials easily found online one question that keeps on cropping up is on how to build ramps.

I'll add a few of my own top tips:

• Start with or create a flat surface to build on, this way when the floor falls it falls horizontal to the surface and not off at an angle.
• If building a new structure and you want a ramp, start with the ramp and then build additional floors from that. Doing it the other way round and trying to line up a ramp from the ground to an already built higher level is very time consuming. Alternatively use the grid building method to ensure that everything aligns.
• When deciding on the angle of the ramp take in to consideration what vehicle, if any, you will be using it for. For example, a Strider with a high chassis can mount a steeper incline than say an Offroad or Land Rover.
• If you are left with gaps between ramp pieces, and aesthetics are not important, as a quick fix use half-walls/walls as filler pieces.
