About Suhrenfeld...it's the very first AI setting and most of you know that I want to design there a big mission. It's the next I will start with.
Still didn't figure out how to spawn custom ammo boxes or the boxes from the missions at specific places I want to. That's a need to create this mission, so may take while...
Well, I tried, but it is not possible to destroy the Su 34 with a fishing rod. Still laughing because it's rockets got me before i even heard it coming. Screwy was laughing because it killed me. Then the second lot of rockets came.
Hay Stoll not what u want to here but the server is dead man and i feel going back to cherno would be the best thing as much as the regular guys love change of map, we can not populate the server on our own, As jimmy pointed out Cherno map is always good for player numbers.
That's what I said yesterday, server population bleeded out down to zero the last weeks. I agree it would be the best to change back again to cherno, though it's a shame cause of the beauty of Napf map. But a server with no peeps on is without use.
A big advance for me as owner is that I can use the old scripts, the 1600 things I added already, colosseum, the bunker and cave, gold camp and anything else we had. Also I'm at a point that I can change the viewing of trader cities (check trashman at napf e.a.) and are also able to add new ones.
I think I will give up my old base at Skalisty Island and leave it to the bandits who can raise a new Sector B there.
Well, I will miss Napf for sure...but I also think that we have no other choice to get more players back online...
The map is great indeed similar like cherno. But it seems people just wanne play in cherno because the dont wanna start over with exploring again and find base position dayz is a old mod i think if the maps didn't came 3 years after cherno map the would had more players.
Its a shame but for the server i feel its the right thing, sorry about this Stoll, i think you should move all the trader citys and make them all like Trash man on diffrent parts of the map, you have come along way with editing so have no doubt that this will be alot easyier now u have the knowledge,
You may be right, but I cannot agree. That would be the great aspect for me as a "normal" player, to explore the new map, to find a nice place where to settle down. And Napf is from the landscape much more beautiful as the moloch Cherno But well, okay, back to russia again...
Well like u said no players no server thats true. I like napf same as cherno, which i didn't had on any other map. I don't really now why cherno is so popular and all other ones just fall out of view. Maybe because cherno is a regular sized map and most people always know where they died. Maybe if the die in napf the think the i'm not gonna loot again. because i viewed some players die and than instantly log off. This is just guessing.

They did that on cherno too. I don't think the map will matter, just the mentality of the people. most people wont join because it says no pvp. As you noticed we did have a lot of people join the server on start up. but then they stopped returning and coming back on. Same thing Happened on Sauerland. And cherno before that. How many bases did you have to go around blowing up. Just seems most people get bored for some reason, I cant see why there is plenty to do but I dont know. maybe we have to turn it into a pvp if we want to see 30+ people on daily but that is not my desire. I joined this server because it was a NO pvp. As I said before seems every map start up we had a good start and a strong population, but after a week it just came back to the same devotees playing.
Of course PvP servers are more popular, though I cannot understand why. With a good AI system like WAI there are many ways to keep peeps busy. That's what I'm always trieing and I guess most owners aren't active like me.
We had a time on cherno were we had 15-20 players online. I don't think it was the map itself, more over the fact that we had all vehicles added. I don't want to add all that stuff again, but maybe I will add some vehicles that are already in since the last patches. (e.a. M113, LAV25)
Actually I'm reworking much stuff and will add new things I have in mind. That's what I like on a private hive, you can be creative and with unique things other servers don't have, it might attract players to stay even when it's no PvP.
Overall I think cherno is still most popular, so I'm willing to give this map another chance.
