Discussions what to be implemented later on the server... I'm open for suggestions.
EDIT: It seems i can play god soon. Some features are:
Custom loot tables (yes why not ! beans ftw!)
heli crash sites (of course)
auto refuel (i'm not sure about that, i love to refuel my car)
Chernarus Power Plants (uhm, well, what is this?)
Halo Jump (of course)
Remove parts from cars (great option, fuck yes!)
Remove clothes from bodies (would give you to much clothes over the time. Will check the settings when it's nearer the time)
Sarge AI (AI is a must have)
Self blood bag (yes, i like it)
Vehicle Tow/Lift (towing yes, lifting i'm not sure yet. The car is not swinging when liftet. That's not the realistic i would like to have. Even i wonder about, if cars might get stolen on this way?)
Heya stol, the clothing from body thing maybe a thing u will have a lot of (depending on how much u kill i guess, and AI bodies or also Zed?), but clothing is used in crafting of canvas and sandbags.... personally i would see that option not removed... if possible down-scaled, but not removed. sandbags are hard to find and expensive at traders... would be nice to have an alternative.
Keep the fueling system we are used to stol, the jerries, the pump and generator and don't forget the fueltrucks makes fueling an interesting part of survival.
heli crash sites: (would be very nice for imba weapons ) auto refuel (hell no, we have generators and fuel pumps, refueling is going by itself^^) Remove parts from cars (scrap metal is so hard to get and so much needed so give players at least the chance of 1/6 to get it ) Remove clothes from bodies (hmm, that`s a hard one. Can u regulate the frequency? then maybe yes) Sarge AI (shooting some stupid ai? oooh a hell of a fun ..please yes!) Self blood bag (yup, theres no way to restore blood with sleeping, would be wonderful if we had an alternative) Vehicle Tow/Lift (hahaha ... NO! ^^)
Well, I was watching videos all along last evening. The HALO Jump Script isn't only the possibility to parachute. When you enter the server first time you will spawn in the skies falling down (damn gravity). I joined a server at my beginning DayZ times which has activated the Halo Jump. Well, it's very, very cool. Also, it will be activated.
I will have the power of Dynamic Weather Control and i will play Zeus for sure!!!
Power Plants. This seems to be the nice lightnings we had on the last epoch server, like light-houses, signal lights at railroad crossings etc. We will figure this out.
On a final note, i've chosen a final name for the server: DayZ Epoch Rednecks Chernarus - NO PVP OR STEALING - Private Hive - Active Admins [1.0.2.3/103728][Regular][GMT+1] dayzmod.com Elite is too snooty, I don't like it.
Almost forgot one miiiiiighty important thing^^ ... Please! pleeeeeaaase dont do that 12/12 thing too .. that was a cruelty for me.. at least make it dark if its really dark outside .. I came from work (rl) and it was dark.. i go to sleep .. it was dark .. so i could only play at the weekend in the night.. I know you said you like the night ..and yeah i have to say .. sometimes the night is reeeally bright and you see everything .. but sometimes not .. so how about a 6/6 cicle? .. the 2/2 cicle from barter was good too i think .. only bad thing about the short night will be.. thieves can see our bases from above .. thats definately the only negative thing i know... and yeah i know theres nvg in this game but after 1h playing my goddamn eyes are getting green and my environment in reallife too tho ... .. so dunno .. any suggestions?
Stol has already decided that the day/nightcycle is not going to be 12/12... even if u like nights it's to long, so be sure it will be down-scaled to a more practical and fun setting.
Well, i always read your messages when you got online and found out that it's dark again. The nights at bartertown were definitively too short. On the last server they were pretty long. My intention is to strike a balance between that.
On the Epoch server we played before I was admin and had that internet map of Chernarus. I was able to see every players position and could also activate tracers so I could track their routes. Also it was simply possible to add stuff to someones gear (though it was buggy sometimes). Third thing was the possibility to delete cars.
Finally Vilayer implemented DayZ AntiHack - BETA into their Addon Manager: DayZ Antihack (watch the pictures)
Don't know if this a right place to post this but as I didn't find any other threads suiting to my posts impression, I thought to try it out here.
Would there be a possibility to get Shilka and Tunguska trailed vehicles to hero traders? Those would be nice addition for us who want to spend their time hunting bandit helo's, and don't think it would hurt anyone.
I have as good as no time atm, but I will think about it. I have a Tunguska at Skalisty Island (my home) and its awesome to get rid off helis. One shot and the heli explodes in the air. No chance for the crew to bail. Just a big bang. Stay calm at next weekend I will be online sometime.
I love the tungstas.... messing with them every time I go onto armory.... way, way too overpowered but still.... love em lol... but a suggestion of mine is to add god mode at trader stores? because there is a bit of a glitch where zeds will get through the walls at stary, and I have to spend 5 minutes getting rid of zombies at NEAF, then when I finally do, I get shot by bandits [frown]
I am just saying this, saw it on another server, and it was extremely useful. I understand players might use this to they're advantage, but... as is, it is JUST A SUGGESTION, not saying it should be implemented into the game.
